Iowa Speedway

The Iowa Speedway is known as a “Rusty Wallace Signature Series Track” . Rusty’s driving resume is one of the most impressive and accomplished in motorsports gives him the expertise to lead the design team that designed the Speedway. The Speedway is home to a 7/8 mile tri-oval track, a 1.3 mile course and 1/8 mile drag strip. The track is the first to install Track-Cams in the surface of the track giving incredible views for television viewers.The track is host to a wide range of events each season including; Top Indy Car Series, NHRA Street Legal Drags, Craftsman Trucks, Grand AM Cup, USAC Triple Crown Events, ASA Late Model, Super Trucks, NASCAR Grand Nationals, ARCA, Rolex Daytona, MOTO-ST Endurance Motorcycle as well as several club and special events throughout the year. General admission for single day tickets start at $20.00. There are several hospitality packages available for an additional cost. The Reserved Backstretch RV Park gives fans a unique view from sites along the Backstretch of the track. These sites are available only in a season package that includes individual race passes. The General Camping area is free and available on a first come basis and requires each camper to have a race ticket.Iowa is home to TS Kart Racing Club with several tracks located throughout the state. TS offers Kart owners the opportunity to pursue their passion on dirt or speedway racing. The club activities include events that children 8 years old and up can participate in. They offer Sprint racing which takes place on asphalt with hair-pin turns and straightways. Enduro racing utilizes a “lay down” kart that tests both the driver and kart’s endurance. These Karts are very fast and usually raced on the bigger tracks. Because of the speed and skill required, usually only very experienced drivers may participate. Most KS tracks offer Kids Karts which allows children 4 to 7 years old get in a kart with a 50cc engine and develop skill and confidence. Iowa TS Kart Racing tracks are located in Delmar, Fayette, Marshalltown, Jamaica, Newton, Waterloo and Bloomfield.The Tri-State Raceway in Earlville opened in 1998 and transformed empty farmland into a premier motorsports facility. With a growing number of events each year, they are committed to giving race fans the thrill they are looking for. Events at the Raceway include; Pro, Super Pro, Sportsman, Jr. Dragster, Grand Prix, Pro Bike, S/SS Combo, ET Bike, Street Rods, Stock Trucks and Sports Compact. They also host several special events each season. Admission varies according to the event with adult tickets usually starting at $15.00. RV Camp sites with full hook ups are available starting at $20.00 per day. Tent camping sites start at $10.00 per day. All fees include the use of showers and restrooms.
